HOW DO I USE MY WAX MELT?
Simply squeeze the sides of your sample tub to pop out the wax and then pop your desired amount into your tealight or electric wax burner. DO NOT ADD WATER. If using a tealight warmer, please use a maximum of one four hour tealight at a time. Most burners are designed to take a maximum of this amount of heat underneath and using more can actually invalidate your home insurance. We make our wax melts strong enough that you won't require any more than this to get a nice strong scent throw. These wax melt samples are large enough that you can break them in half before using to get 2 uses out of each sample. Remember the melted wax does not evaporate; only the scent dissipates, so make sure to remove the used wax from your warmer before adding a new cube
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CHANGE MY WAX MELT?
Some of our users change their wax every day as they fancy a change and most of our users boast 2,3 and even 4 days of use per cube. There's no real answer for this other than it's time to change your wax when you are no longer getting enough scent in your home or fancy a new fragrance.
HOW TO CLEAN OUT MY USED WAX?
Our soy wax is super soft and creamy making it much easier to clean than some other market alternatives. We recommend either of the two following methods.
Warm your wax enough to begin melting it at the bottom. Once it starts to pool, simply tip your warmer onto it's side slowly allowing the contents to fall into your bin or other disposal method.
IF all your wax is melted then you can add kitchen roll, cotton wool or similar to the melted wax to soak up the contents and dispose of this in your bin. Some people choose to use these soaked items in their woodburners or fires - we recommend checking with your own model to make sure that this won't cause any damage to your stove as wax has been shown to clog some models.
WHY DO SOME SCENTS CAUSE ME MIGRAINES?
Some fragrances can trigger migraines. Things like Vanilla or cocoa are common triggers for migraine sufferers. If you are noticing any symptoms when using scents, let us know and we can help you to identify your own triggers and suggest scents that you can enjoy instead. We also have a list on our website of all scents which contain common triggers to make it even easier for you to find scents that are suitable for you.
